Client: DEPOMURES- GDF SUEZ Targu-Mures-Mures, the UAE – as Final Beneficiary of the investment.
DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 2013-2014
PROJECT SCOPE: Increasing underground storage capacity Depomures up to 400.000 Milioans Nm3/cycle by developing new gas compression and drying facilities.
The purpose of the development work is to take gas from the national gas transmission network during periods of low demand (e.g. summer) and inject it into underground storage, or to extract gas during periods of very high demand.
At the moment the Tirgu Mures underground natural gas storage operates through 5 groups to which 19 (existing) gas wells are connected.
The storage development consists of increasing the useful volume of the storage from 300 MNm3 to 400 MNm3 / cycle and involves:

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 2014-2015
PROJECT SCOPE: Construction of a new compression station at Roman (suction at 3-5 barg, discharge at 24 barg) with a maximum flow rate of 600 000 Nm3/day.
The Roman gas structure started to be exploited in 1973 and developed in successive stages, reaching today a number of about 100 production wells distributed on several geological targets.
The gas production of the wells is first collected at the Groups. Here, preliminary separation of waste water from the reservoir is carried out, and the gas is then transported via a network of manifolds to the Harlesti Gas Drying Station. After drying the gas is delivered to Transgaz via a fiscal measurement panel.
In order to extend the exploitation period of the wells and to increase the final recovery factor of the field, the pressure in the gas gathering system had to be lowered to values lower than the pressure in the national transmission system managed by Transgaz. The compensation of this pressure difference involved the construction of a compression station to suck the gas from the gathering system and to deliver it to the Harlesti Gas Drying Station.
The project consisted of the following works:

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 2015-2016
PROJECT SCOPE: Modernization of the existing compressor station by adding 2 (two) new turbine compressor units (suction at 18-28 barg, discharge at 40 barg) with a maximum flow rate of 120 000 Nm3/h.
The existing Sinca Turbocharger Station (S.T.C.) was commissioned in 1974 and equipped with 4 turbo-compressors. This station serves the South – East natural gas transport system, composed of the Dn 500 Nadeș – Șinca – Sinaia – Mănești – Bucharest, Dn 600 Filitelnic – Schitu Golești and Dn 700 Coroi – Daneș – Șinca – Filipeștii de Pădure pipelines.
Due to the age of the previously installed compression groups, which showed a high degree of mechanical wear, and due to the current parameters different from the parameters at which the station was originally designed, its reliability in operation has decreased and operating costs have increased. As a result it became necessary to modernise the station.
The project has replaced 2 of the existing turbocharger units (G3 and G4) with new ones in order to ensure high efficiency operation of both the compressor and the turbine in order to achieve minimum fuel consumption at the point of normal operation.
The modernization of the compressor station consisted of the following:
The services provided by the bidder consisted in the preparation of the detailed technical execution project within the EPC phase in order to ensure the entire multidisciplinary execution documentation for the contractors, the documentation and analysis of the bids for the purchase of the equipment, the preparation of the operating philosophies and operation manuals for the station, etc..

Client: ROMGAZ S.A. Sucursala Tg-Mures – as Final Beneficiary of the investment. CONFIND SRL. as General Contractor and contractor of design services to South East Energy Petroleum Company.
DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 2020-2022
PROJECT SCOPE: Construction of a new drying plant with a capacity of 2.2 million Nm3/day.
The project is part of the Objective „Putting into production the deposits of Merii, Salcii, Lipia and Fulga” – Feasibility Study SNGN ROMGAZ SA – Tg.Mures Branch – prepared by the Design Service.
The Cosereni gas drying station will condition the gas coming from the above mentioned deposits before the delivery to the fiscal measurement panel and the connection with the SNT of Cosereni.
The Cosereni Gas Drying Station is a technological installation interconnected to the Ø 406,4 mm collector pipeline that takes the wet gases produced by the 1 Fulga, 1 Salciile, 1 Merii and 1 Lipia wells and that must be delivered to the National Transmission System.
The Cosereni Gas Drying Station (GDS) uses triethylene glycol (TEG) as an absorbent and is designed to remove as much water vapour as possible from the gas coming from the wells. The amount of water vapour removed is reflected in the dew point of the gas at the outlet of the drying station, a value that must be in accordance with the gas quality requirements specified in the Emirati Gas Trading Regulation (the water dew point value must be less than < -15oC).
